Breel Embolo: A Rising Star on and off the Field
From World Cup Hero to Humanitarian
WEB Die Embolo Foundation - Supporting Refugees and Youth in Need
Breel Embolo, the Swiss football star who scored the winning goal against his birth country of Cameroon in the recent FIFA World Cup, is not only a talented athlete but also a dedicated humanitarian. At the tender age of 18, Embolo founded the Embolo Foundation, a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to support refugee children in Switzerland and disadvantaged youth in Cameroon and Peru.
The foundation, established in November 2015, focuses on providing education, shelter, and access to healthcare for those in vulnerable situations. Embolo's own experiences as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo have fueled his passion for helping others who have fled conflict and persecution.
