Coinbase and SEC Head to Court

Pre-Motion Hearing Scheduled for Jul 11th

Coinbase and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will meet in court this week for a pre-motion hearing on July 11th, 2023, at 8:30 pm. The hearing will address Coinbase's lawsuit against the SEC over the agency's classification of nine of its digital assets as securities. Coinbase argues that the SEC's actions are an overreach and will harm investors and hamper innovation in the US cryptocurrency market.
